Your Career at FTI
Over the last few years you have worked hard to achieve your goals and to obtain your degree. Now you are ready to take those first steps toward a successful career.

FTI is committed to helping you get the most out of the skills you have already learned as well as personal development throughout your career. Training begins when you walk through the doors of FTI. New Hire Orientation sessions provide the basics, and individual training curriculums designed by segment provide deeper focus at various points in one’s career. Classes are offered depending upon the skills an individual needs at a given level. While training courses help our employees develop the tools they need to succeed; due to the nature of our work, how to apply those tools is typically learned “on the job”.

FTI generally has five levels of staff: Consultant, Senior Consultant, Director, Managing Director, and Senior Managing Director. Individuals should expect to spend 2-3 years at each level; however timing of promotion will vary across individuals and segments and is based on merit, not years of service. When employees demonstrate they are ready for increased responsibility and promotion, they are given the opportunity for advancement.
